There is no pass/fail for IELTS. You get a score between 0 and 9.0. Understand your IELTS scores
The Test Report Form:
Your IELTS results will be available 13 days after your test and recorded on a Test Report Form. The Test Report Form (TRF) will be posted to you 13 days after the test. Centres are not permitted to give results over the phone or by e-mail or fax. Online preview of your results will be available in the near future. You will only receive one Test Report Form. Keep it safe: replacements cannot be issued.
Your name should be on the mailbox and/or door. If it is not, your mail may not arrive. You should give us a "C/O" name if somebody else's name is on the mailbox.
If you want to pick up your result from our reception this can only be done when agreed on forehand, please write email@example.com
Can I retake the test if I don't get the score that I need?
You can take the test as many times as you wish and at the next available date. However, it should be noted that to significantly improve a score it is necessary to engage in further study. IELTS research indicates that scores are unlikely to improve dramatically without extensive English language tuition in the interim. You must repeat the full test as you cannot repeat a single module. The test fee is the same for each repeated test. You will need to submit a new application form with passport copy and photographs.
What if I am not happy with my results?
If you are not satisfied with your results, you have the option of applying for a re-mark of (parts of) your test within 6 weeks of the test date. This process is called Enquiry on Results (EOR) and costs DKK 630. It may take up to approx. six weeks from the time we send the results for re-marking. Should your score improve as a result of this re-evaluation, this amount will be refunded to you and a new test report form will be issued. To make use of this service please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
